Counts rising, surgery tomorrow

My counts are finally starting to come up. Today my white count was at 900. Still neutropenic, but we're getting there. Please pray that they will continue to rise.

I will most likely be in OR tomorrow to have my Hickman replaced. They are replacing it with something similar, specified by Barnes. I'm a little nervous about it even though last time went fine. I am very anxious to have it replaced, though. My arms are really beat up from daily blood draws and the IVs I have in currently have been very painful. The meds I'm on are hard on the veins and sometimes they just burn.

I'll be released from MU this week into the care of Barnes. Not exacty sure what day this will happen. I'll keep you updated as much as possible.

Thanks to Rachel D. for the book. Thanks also to Rachel D., Dixie, Meam, Rowena, Peggy, Mara, Aunt Kristy & Uncle Jim, Anne, Colleen, Rachel E., Perdews, and Grandpa and Linda for the cards.

Keep your spirits up, Amy. We are all praying so hard for you. You have no idea. Or maybe you do.

Just try to stay positive, Sweetie. We love you so much, sometimes I think YOU give us hope that God is here and he has you and all of us in His arms.

Your faith continues...in spite of the suffering you're enduring...to give all of us hope that there's a reason for this. There really is.

God bless you. Praying for you...

Hey Amy, Still praying for you everyday. I think about you alot and everytime you come to my mind I pray for you. You will remain on my S.S. prayer list, it is alot of people praying for you. I didnt have the update in time for this morning so I emailed it to everyone tonight.

Keep turning it over to the Lord, I know you must grow weary, so we pray harder. Love you Amy.

Amy,

You will always be in my prayers. My prayer is, "God's unending love will hold you close during those unknown moments." I have had medical care at Barnes Jewish and I feel at ease you will receive the most up to date treatment. Amy, God Bless You and know we love and pray for you @ church and small care groups.

God Bless you, Amy. I'm so glad to hear that you're improving, even though I am sure it must feel like slow-going to you. God is using this time for all of us to draw nearer to Him (as we continue to pray for you all the time).

In my thoughts and prayers,

Love ya

Amy, Brandon, and Family;

We too are thankful for the rise in counts and pray they may continue to do so. You are on our minds so very much and we lift you up in prayer often.

I Pet. 1:2b "Grace unto you, and
peace, be mulitplied."

May it be so today for each one.

Love, Don and Lilan

Hi Amy,
Just wanted to let you know that we missed you on Saturday night and sure wish you could have been at the anniversary dinner. But there will be more in the future and I am confident that you'll be there, happy and healthy. It was good to see all your brothers and sisters and Gary. He sure has grown since we last saw him.

I've been reading Revelation and a good commentary that helps to understand the words as best I can. But one thing is obviously clear and important to remember. In spite of all adversity and trials, God is in control and loves those who love and worship Him. He will protect and heal you. It was good news to hear the counts are rising...so on to Barnes and we'll continue to pray that you'll finally kick this disease and you'll be home soon to your son, to Brandon, and all the family. Keep smiling,
Uncle Cliff
