Monday Night

Again this is Brandon posting on Amy's behalf. She asked me to post to let everyone know that she will be undergoing an MRI tonight. She asked if you could all pray for her to have peace and that God would calm her nerves.

Thank you,
Brandon

Amy, I just wanted you to know that I am still praying for you and I will not stop. I have your picture from the blog as my screen saver at work. When someone asked me about it, I told them that you are such an inspiration to me. You have been through so much, yet still have so much faith in God. You don't give up. You keep fighting. God will reward you for that, you'll see. Hang in there and know that you are in my prayers. Love and miss ya.

I read the last post by Brandon first and then saw this one, so I'll comment here. I'll keep praying and pray especially for the MRI tonight. I know that you still have many trials ahead of you, even though you're in remission now. Your body still has to recuperate from the chemo and we won't quit praying for you.

Heavenly Father, I pray now that you'll touch Amy and that Your Holy Spirit will hold her near and comfort her, easing her fears and giving her Your peace that passeth all understanding. Guide the doctors, nurses and technicians as they treat her, and I pray for good results from the tests. I pray for a good, restful night for her, and that You will relieve her nausea so that she can eat and strengthen her body. Father, please be with Brandon and those who minister to her, give them health and strength as they wait with her. Thank You for all You've already done for them and continue to bless them as they give You the glory for all You've accomplished in their lives. Thank you for what You're going to do, too, Father. I give you all the praise, honor and glory, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Amy,

May the "Peace of Christ" envelop you during your MRI this evening. My prayer is that God will guide the medical team in finding a solution for your plan of care. My heart is full of prayers for you as you are medically challenged. Christ is with you, Amy! We love you!! Lynn--Grace Church of Columbia

Oh Amy, when I read your blog this evening, I remembered what life is all about, spending time in prayer with God, realy living the important things and I will most certaintly pray for you tonight, because we both serve the same God, the same God that said, Come unto me all that are weary and I will give you rest, the same God that said, he will give you peace that surpasses all our understanding. That will be my prayer for you, that you will have the strength to mount up like an eagle. In prayer always for you,
April Martin, Dixon, friend of Anita.

Amy and Brandon,

Please know that you are loved and prayed for by so many here in Lebanon too. Some in the Church here do not have internet so we have been printing off your postings. We ran out yesterday as many took copies home.

We trust the Lord will guide with your MRI this evening and give you a restful night.

Love,
Don & Lilan

Amy,
I hope you're resting peacefully now as the MRI is probably completed. I will pray that the doctors and the technicians will be given the heaven-sent wisdom and knowledge to properly interpret the images they have seen and that now with God's infinite grace and our Lord's confidence and assurance you will be prescribed the proper medications and care to take you through this next phase of your treatment.

I'm sorry we haven't been sending you messages lately but I hope you know that you are continually on our minds. I will call your Mom tomorrow and ask her how you're doing. Please look for a package to arrive from us soon. Stay strong and keep up the hopeful spirit.
